Spacious Grounds

Mom's Place 2 is located in the lovely residential neighborhood of Las Posas Estates on secured grounds.  Our four thousand square foot home is surrounded by lush grassy areas and beautiful gardens.

Our grand country kitchen is where we cater to our guests' tastes in food.  Fresh salmon, baby back ribs and various chicken dishes seem to be among the favorites.  Guests are always welcomed.

Large, Open Living Room

The vaulted ceiling living room is the center of our activities.  The entertainment center hold a 36" TV, VCR and the Premier Americast Video program.  Gathered around the entertainment center are couches and old fashioned chair gliders with matching ottomans.  This beautiful room contains a gaming table for card playing and indoor bingo, along with an upright piano.

WEST WING
Unique Bedrooms & Large Bathrooms

The fit-for-a-queen (or king) room is our largest bedroom with 250 sq. ft. of living space.  Views of the front yard through its private french door and the back yard via picture window make this room special.

Here is our room with the views.  The sliding glass door looks out and gives access to our large backyard with it's waterfall and fruit trees.  The lovely bay window captures the courtyard and the east wing of our home.

The west wing bathroom is large lite and bright. It features a ridge less walk in or wheel in shower. Daily showers are a breeze for each of our residents and their care giver.

EAST WING
Unique Bedrooms & Large Bathrooms

This bedroom as with all the other rooms were conceived and designed by Susan Black four time award winner at the Ventura county fair. This room features wall paper, lace curtains, down pillows, custom
comforter, and matching rocking chair. This room is only a few steps away from the hub of our house.

This room looks out on our lovely terraced garden.  It is a beautifully designed and decorated room only a few steps from the hub of the house, and with a private entrance to our east wing hall bathroom.

For those who would rather soak that shower, our tub sits under a large sky light for  a unique bathing experience.

The master bedroom  is our largest bedroom by far. It looks out to our central courtyard from one side and the lovely east end yard on the other side. It is a semi-private room with the accent on private. Neither occupant can see each other from there bed. The room has its own shower, commode, and double sinks. There is a beautiful lanai with three open able sky lights and two walls of closet space. The perfect place for some one who wants to bring a lot of personal belongs with them. It is a favorite room and therefore usually not available.

Quiet Den

Our "getaway den" is on the quieter side perfect for reading, knitting and meeting with family and friends. It offers a wonderful view of our backyard and walking path.
